Funny of discovery!

A researcher Japanese woman of the International Medical centre of Japan, Mayu Yamamoto, discovered that the dung of cow cooked during one hour and subjected to a high temperature releases from vanillin. The interest of this discovery is economic because it is two to three times less expensive than that obtained with true vanilla. The manufacturers of cosmetics and perfumes of environment are very interested. (Septembre 13, 2006)

L'Insolence of Guerlain

World launching of a new perfume the « Insolence » of Guerlain, a modern and daring fragrance joining together red violets, fruits (a first at Guerlain) and the iris. This very large perfume is a creation of Maurice Roucel and Sylvaine Delacourte (creators of the « Instant » of Guerlain). The sculptor Serge Mansau built the bottle in the shape of spinning top. This fragrance is on sale since August 28 in the Guerlain shops and will launch on next 15 September at the distributors.

Guerlain chose Hilary Swank, actress American 31 years, to impose its perfume. Guerlain aims at a target younger than its usual customers, the young women from 25 to 30 years. (Septembre 13, 2006)

Stilton launch blue cheese perfume !

The makers of the famously pungent Stilton blue cheese have launched their own perfume. It claims to "recreate the earthy and fruity aroma" of the cheese "in an eminently wearable perfume". The perfume blended by a Manchester-based aromatics company, features a symphony of natural base notes including yarrow, angelica seed, clary sage and valerian. The perfume wil be available from Stilton Cheese ! (Septembre 13, 2006)

Virtues of the odors

Our brain reacts to the odours, which we breathe while emitting of waves CNV (contingent negative variation). Scientists measured these waves and noted that the perfume of the pinks decreased the cardiac pulsations and that the odour of lemon reduced the cortisone rate (hormone of the stress). Other odours are alleviating: those of the lavender and the camomile. Certain scents awake our grey matter; it is the case of the perfumes of mint or jasmine. Japanese uses these discoveries for better doing to work their employees! In certain Japanese firms, a lemon perfume accommodates them the morning to give them heart to the work. Let us take care of our nose

LeThe nose is not satisfied to make pass the air in our lungs after having heated it, it filters the air thanks to these hairs (vibrisses or cilia) which paper the interior of the mucous membrane. Indeed, the hairs, helped by mucus, stop dust, the viruses, the bacteria and other molecules polluting with which the air is charged. The nose is with him only a true treatment plant. For example, the oenologists, the perfumers and the cooks are able to retain more than 10 000 different odours! Why noses of different forms? According to certain scientists, the noses quite simply adapted to the climatic conditions. The inhabitants of the deserts have long noses, which enables them to preserve their natural moisture. Here new French stamps, in form of heart, proposed by the post office for the Saint Valentine 2005. These stamps were designed by Cacharel. Here are what soon Internet will allow! Indeed, an English company is on the point of marketing the "scent dome", a kind of large mouse which one will be able to connect on our computer. This object will contain 20 cartridges of perfume. According to the visited site, those will combine automatically to give sixty different scents. Loves You

Last 9 February, Jean Reno (actor celebrates) paid homage to the women while launching a delicious fragrance mixing bergamot, sage, and also peony, gardenia, orchids, vanilla, sandal, white cedar... This perfume was quite simply baptized "Jean Reno - Loves You". The composition of this fragrance is due to Nathalie Lorson (15th march 2004).

Osmothèque :

Osmothèque is the "International Academy of the Scents". Created in 1988 on the initiative of Jean Kerléo (former perfumer-creator of the house Jean Patou), « Osmothèque » gathers more than 1200 disappeared current perfumes and 300, reconstituted according to the formulas of origin. These perfumes are carefully classified, after labelling, in a cold and obscure room. Their three enemies being heat, the light and the oxygen in air, these juices are conditioned preciously under atmosphere of argon (neutral gas).

A flavor " Big Vineyard "

The flavor and the wine have no that the alcohol in common, they have as well aromas! Cava Parfums to create flavors inspired by big vineyards. The "year 2003" will have for note of vintage wines of Burgundy. Castle Roxane for Her (inspired by a Montrachet) and Castle Roxane for Him (inspired by a Gevrey-Chambertin).
